3 Sport All State Performers in SD

With all due respect to track, tennis, golf, etc. there was discussion at the recent coaches meeting in Aberdeen that 2016 could be the first year in some time to have, not only one, but potentially more than one, "Big 3" sport All State performer in the same year for all three sports (Football, Basketball, Baseball). In this day and age of specialization it got us talking. Everyone was stuggling to think of the last Big 3 athlete All Stater they could remember and one name brought up was Chad McConnell of OG. B/c baseball is a little ragged in SD that could be why, but any others anyone can recall. Would appreciate any thoughts...since its just hot and nothing much happening in the sports world anyway.

What about Jacob Howard out of Sully Buttes Was runner- up at the State Football Game was State Champ in Basketball in was Leading in the Shot Put in B's but now is in 2nd not to bad for a Class B kid
